Located in the United States, freelancer Andre Junget has 3 main disciplines, which are Traditional Illustration, Architectural Illustration and Nature Illustration.

This self-taught illustrator began his career in 1991 and has won Awards of excellence for his designs in 2005, 2008 and 2009 from ASAI. The illustration he displays range from classic automobiles, architecture and house portraits just to name a few of his precise illustrations.

His work identifies his drawing in detail, those designs without colour show the intensity of the object he has drawn and you can see the effort put into the illustrations with the shading and immense detail.

His piece Textile Machine looks like a photograph from its thumbnail but when you take a closer look, you can see the time and detail spent on this one illustration alone.

Studying in the architectural field for some of his designs, he believes he has stayed true to himself through his interests, desires and beliefs as an artist and as a human being.

None of Andre's illustrations have been digitally enhanced and that also gives them the distinctive feel, they have had a lot of time and effort spent on them. He considers himself a pen illustrator that idolises working within the architectural medium and with this, he plans to pay tribute to past architects and keep their name alive

Andre would like to continue to evolve as an artist and as a business person as he now wants to take on the marketing world with the combined already obtained knowledge of working with clients.

It is very difficult for aspiring artists not to be inspired by the work of Andre Junget. He clearly makes a living from his skills and focuses on enjoying what he does best. If you find your self in a situation where your not enjoying what your doing then think about subjects or things that make you happy and draw them. Some of the most successful artists would probably tell you that they would practise their skill without being paid for it. So focus on doing what you love and the financial rewards are just an added bonus.
